Lighting Consultation

How we work:

1.     We arrange an initial meeting in our showroom to view your plans and discus your style / project / budget.

2.     We then arrange an initial meeting on site to view the space and get a feel for the rooms.

3.     After the initial site meeting follows a Lighting Schedule including images and dimensions. 

4.     We then arrange a meeting in our showroom to review proposed schedule and answer any questions.

5.     Following our meeting we then make any required alterations to the schedule until approved.

6.     Lead times are then advised and a quotation is issued to suit.

6.     Meeting onsite after completion to review any outstanding snags and take photos of the completed project.

Lighting Consultation & Lighting Design Fee’s:

We offer two levels of service, Home Lighting Consultation and Home Lighting Design.

For Lighting Consultations we have two options:

Option 1:

An hourly rate of £50.00.

Option 2:

A full home package.

For example a standard 5 bedroom home the cost would be approx. £600 for the lighting package, this would include the following:

1. Lighting Layout (showing locations of pendants, wall lights, 5amp sockets etc)
2. Lighting Schedule (illustrating the products with dimensions, cut outs and wattages for electricians)
3. 1 X site visit – This would need to be booked 3 weeks in advance.

Please note: Further site visits would be charged at £50 per hour.

The next service / package up would-be Lighting Design which would be priced on a project by project basis as no project is the same. A ball park figure for this service would be around £2000.

This would include the following:

1. Detailed Lighting Layout
2. Circuit Count – For smart home / dimming systems
3. Lighting Schedule (illustrating the products with dimensions, cut outs and wattages for electricians) This will be more detailed as more time would be spend focusing on selecting the correct beam angles for an accurate & improved lighting scheme.
4. 2 X site visits, This would need to be booked 3 weeks in advance.
5. Lighting calculations which include lumen levels.
6. Technical advise and coordination with contractor and smart home / dimming system provider.

Please note: Further site visits would be charged at £50 per hour.
