FAQs

Are there finance options available?

Yes. Via our partner Hitachi. Orders over £500 qualify and you can choose the finance option at the checkout stage. We offer up to 12 months of interest-free finance. A deposit is required to secure the order. For more information, please contact Hitachi finance. 

We also offer pay in 3 installments via Klarna or pay in 30 days via Klarna too.

Are light bulbs included with your light fittings?

Due to government legislation, most light fittings don’t come with light bulbs anymore to encourage the use of LED energy efficient lighting. These are generally available in Warm White (a warm relaxed tone, similar to the colour of a standard light bulb) or Cool White (a cleaner, brighter white colour).

Can you dim LED light bulbs?

Most LED light bulbs can be purchased as Dimmable or Non-Dimmable, If you use a dimmable LED bulb these can be dimmed using an LED dimmer. You can of course purchase dimmable LED bulbs and just switch them on / off as well. We only sell dimmable bulbs on our website so you have the best of both worlds and can dim or simply switch on / off if you require.

Do you offer a guarantee?

Yes, all of our electrical lights come with a minimum 1-year electrical guarantee unless a larger guarantee is stated.

 

Do you offer discounts for large orders?

Yes, We offer a package price on larger orders and on bulk quantity. We can’t offer a discount on already reduced or sale items. We also don’t offer a discount on furniture, artwork, homewares, wallpaper etc. purely lighting*

How do I know your site is secure?

Our entire site is secure by way of 128-bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption, which is the Industry Standard for safe online shopping. The small 'padlock icon' to the left of the URL bar at the top of the page confirms the security of our site. In addition, your personal data is totally protected and we never store credit card details. 

What payment methods do you accept?

Paying for your order could not be easier. We accept Klarna, PayPal, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, and all major debit and credit cards (without extra charges incurred), including Visa, MasterCard and Maestro. Unfortunately we no longer accept American Express. Payment can also be made by BACS and in cash in store. We also offer Klarna Pay in 3 Instalments and Klarna Pay in 30 days, as well as PayPal Pay in 3 Instalments. 

What if I find the product cheaper elsewhere?

Our team of buyers are constantly priced checking our products as we pride ourselves on offering quality products at very competitive prices we only see our products at RRP. However, if you have a query on the price of our products before the point of purchase, please don't hesitate to call our customer services team on 0191 440 1111 (From outside the UK: +44 (191) 440 1111. We price match all lighting products with websites that have a showroom before the point of purchase.

We, however, reserve the right to:

  • refuse a price match which would result in financial loss or unacceptable profit margins
  • to limit the quantities of price matches from a single customer
  • not match trade prices
  • we may discontinue our price match promise at any time
  • we may decline a price match without any explanation
  • not price match imitation or copies of products that often use cheaper materials and lack in quality
  • not match prices from auction sites such as eBay

Can I view your products in person / Do you have a retail outlet or showroom?

We have a gorgeous showroom based on Team Valley, Gateshead – Please note our showroom does not display everything on our website. If there is a specific product you are travelling to see, Please contact our showroom on (0191) 440 1111 to confirm that we display the item before making your journey.

What if my delivery arrives damaged?

In the unfortunate event that your purchase(s) are damaged in transit, please firstly refuse to sign for the item and send it back if it is visibly damaged before accepting delivery. If it is only noticeable once opened, please send us an email with photographic evidence within 48 hours We will then arrange collection and a replacement with you. Damages & missing parts must be reported within 48 of receipt of delivery.

Do you offer discount to trade customers?

Yes. If you qualify as a trade professional within the industry, we can discuss a trade discount with you. Please contact us for more information. We offer 30 day credit accounts - subject to approval.

Can I arrange collection to get my purchases faster?

Yes,  We have a "click & collect" option available at checkout, Select this and we'll contact you when your item is ready to pick up!
