Returns Policy Breakdown:

We offer a 28 day refund policy on all stocked goods that are not reduced or ex display, after this period of time we are unable to accept returns or exchanges. For special orders please see below.
All order must be returned to us within 28 days from receipt and at your own cost. For special orders (items we don't stock please see "special orders" below or contact us on (0191) 440 1111 to confirm if an item is a stocked line or a special order. Special orders are subject to a 25% handling charge.
When returning an item to us please email email@example.com with your WEB order number to request your return. You must not write on the product box / packaging and only use clear tape. Please note the product box must also not be damaged and is to be returned back to us in its original condition. If these conditions are not met then we are unable to accept these as returns.
Please attach a printed returns note or a hand written note with our returns address to it. We cannot accept returns where the box has been wrote on. Please do not stick your returns label directly onto the product box. Please attach to an outer box or outer packaging.
It is the responsibility of the customer to inspect all goods prior to any installation work, We cannot accept returns for any cosmetic imperfections reported after the item has been installed, these will not be considered for return or exchange.
Please do not write on the box or packaging - We can not accept returns back when the box has been ripped, damaged, taped in brown tape or written on.
Special orders, Online orders (non stock items) & Catalogue orders will incur a 25% handling charge and be returned at your cost. This cost is incurred to us by our suppliers to return the item back to them and for administrative charges.
Please contact us on (0191) 440 1111 or email us to check if the item you are interested in is stocked in our showroom or is a special order BEFORE you place your order. A member of staff will be happy to assist you.
Faults & Shortages:
All faults and shortages must be reported to us within 3 days of collection or from receiving delivery of your order. These faults include missing parts, damaged glass and general flaws. After 3 days we cannot accept responsibility for any faults. Replacement parts (where available) would have to be paid for after 3 days. If you are having renovations done to your home we recommend you check your products straight away and store them in a safe location to avoid damage on site. All electrical faults are covered by the fittings 1 guarantee and do not have to be reported within 3 days.
Please note we are unable to offer exchanges on damaged fittings once they have been installed. This is not applicable to electrical faults.
Please check you are happy with all fittings before installing them. We are not liable for cosmetic damage once they have been installed - It is the responsibility of the customer to inspect all goods prior to any installation work, We cannot accept returns for any cosmetic imperfections reported after the item has been installed, these will not be considered for return or exchange.
Reduced items that are not ex display can be returned within 28 days in original packaging and will receive a credit note with a 1 year expiry.
All returned items must be unaltered, unwired, in original packaging with all ceiling fixings and parts.
Bespoke & Made To Order:
Bespoke & Made to order items can not be cancelled once the order is placed and are non-returnable. Please call or email us to check if the items you are ordering are bespoke items.
Ex-Display items are "sold as seen" and are non-returnable unless electrically faulty. You are of course still covered with a 12 month guarantee.
Bulbs & Electrical accessories are non-returnable.
Reed Diffusers & Candles
Reed diffusers and candles are non returnable items.
Once You Receive Your Order:
Though great care is taken when dispatching your order, We are not in control of our couriers deliveries. On this basis please check your order and report all faults, shortages, damages & missing parts within 3 days and before installation. If you plan on installing your product at a later date we strongly recommend checking it for faults & missing pieces. We are not liable after this period and after installation.
Please note that we are unable to offer product exchanges after installation if item is damaged unless there is a technical lighting fault.
Please note that we are unable to accept a return where the box / packaging has been written on.

Cp Lighting & Interiors will normally deliver your order within 4 to 7 working days. Bespoke and Made to order products will be on a longer lead time, For David Hunt Lighting this varies up to 3 weeks, Please contact our showroom sales consultants on (0191) 440 11 11 who can advise you further. All orders placed before 11am on items in stock in either of our Gateshead warehouses will be delivered next working day by courier service. Deliveries to UK non-mainland and Republic of Ireland will be delivered on a two-three courier service. If not in stock in our branches items will be ordered from our suppliers and delivered to you within 4 to 7 working days. If your order is considered urgent we recommend contacting us on (0191) 440 11 11 to confirm stock availability.
Please note next working day is not guaranteed, Our courier will operate at their best level to get to you next day but this cannot be guaranteed.
Courier UK Mainland - Free Over £250

(Please note Saturday delivery is not an express delivery service. It simply means the approx delivery time will be 4 to 7 working days however the item will be delivered on a Saturday instead of Monday to Friday.)
Courier UK Non-Mainland & Republic of Ireland
UK Non-Mainland includes the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Isles of Scilly, Orkney Islands, Inner Hebrides, Outer Hebrides, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Islands and Guernsey. These areas are only available on a two-three working day service.
